It's time to wipe all the spider webs.

Been abandoning this blog for a long time. Sometime I really want to write something, a thought, motivational, books I recently read, updates, inspirational stories, photography but I can't cope with my so-called-new-life now. I'm utterly uninspired to spend more time with Jericho, and I'm feeling bad for myself for not being the person I've used to. So full of ideas on what to write and spill in this blog of mine. Gomenasai, minna-san.

1.Life been so much better, I'm trying to be more positive in life, being surrounded by different types of people with their own traits is my new challenge in life. I desperately trying to impress every single one of them but I fail to realize that I can't please everyone.
2. Got 2 new books from Chris, she bought Wedding Night by Sophie Kinsella and The Time Keeper by Mitch Albom from India because the books are cheaper there compared in Malaysia. Finished reading both of the book, and maybe I write about the books later in separate blog post :) The Time Keeper is my favourite
3. Went to a family photoshoot at Everbest Photo, we've discussed about this before, long time ago when late dad is still alive but we couldn't find the perfect time for all of us to gather. Now, we had the chance even though big bro, one of my bro in law and late dad was not there.
4. Went for a getaaway at Kuching, got the chance to meet Jaeverny and Ivy, spent a few days at Jae's home and went to Serian as well. Awesome 5 days vacation, thank you to Jae and Ivy for the hospitality <3
5. Attended engagements and wedding, I must say this year is the year of weddings and engagements.
6. Falling in love
7. Priceless experiences during work.
8. Watched some nice movies, Despicable Me 2 and The Conjuring
9. Splurging money on dresses <3
10. Went to the Youth Conference at KDCA :)

I guess the list has sum up all my recent updates in my life so far :P

Movie: October Baby (2012)

I have this habit of multitasking, in the midst of studying I still find it to be practical, even though some of you may opposed that kind of learning. But maybe different people possesses different way of studying huh? :)

I've downloaded quite a few movies using the tablet, I amazed by the internet speed using Instanet simcard actually, compared to the postpaid-data plan  broadband on my laptop, the connection is terrible even the sloth is  faster than the speed itself :P So, recently I browse the movie listing through google, to be specific I searched for 2012 movie listing, to see what decent movies I've missed and I found October Baby. I didn't read the synopsis, so I didn't know what's the movie all about. After the download had finished, I watched it, while doing revision.

Rough synopsis, this is the story of a girl named Hannah. She didn't know she was adopted until the time she met with her doctor to discuss about her medical condition, she was having seizures and asthma attack during her performance in a play, and somehow her parents come clean about everything during the meeting with the doctor. Confused and lost, she decided to go on a roadtrip with her friends, including Jason, famous guy in their school.Hannah decided to find her biological parents, to be clear about everything. Tu cut the chase, Hannah found her mother, but her mother rejected her, and to be exact Hannah was supposed to be aborted, but the plan failed. She was born pre-matured, and she has a twin brother, but died soon after delivered.

She felt unwanted, the feeling where she should have died instead of her twin brother because she finds life was not a good place to live, since her biological mother rejected her.
But, every line has a silver lining. Her non-biological parents loves her very much, and despite she being rebellious against them for not telling the truth earlier, they find a way to clear the atmosphere.

some nice quotes I found in this movie:

  • To be human is to be beautifully flawed
  • A father's love, a wedding dance, New Year's dreams, a toast with friends, a soldier coming home from war, the faith the hope of so much more,a brand new life, a mother's prayer, shooting stars, ocean air, a lover's kiss, and hard goodbyes, fireworks, Christmas lights, these are things that make us feel alive.
  • You had been forgiven, so you have the power to forgive others.

I fall in love with the soundtrack of this movie,
  • Life Is Beautiful by The Afters
  • Hesitate By Steve Moakler
Great movie I must admit :)

The Impossible

I tried so hard to let myself cry for a sad movie everytime I feel depressed because seems like crying is one of the way for me to get myself better. Most of the time I failed, maybe because the movie was not so touching or maybe the problem is just me. Then, le frien told me about his movie, she watched the trailer and she said that maybe we should go watch at cinema after we got our allowance.  We went to Times Square, planning to go to Midvalley at first but I don't fancy Midvalley because of I can't buy things there, except for foods because I'm not the kind of person who willing to spend extra money on branded things. Sometime quantity outweigh quality :P

So, for those who haven't watch this movie, go watch now because it will be worth :)

Synopsis: The account of a family caught in the mayhem of the tragic tsunami that hit Southeast Asia in 2004.

Heart-wrenching and hopeful. Honest and astonishing. THE IMPOSSIBLE is a film that will make you cry both for sadness and for joy.

While the film is based on a true account of one family and their fight for survival in Thailand during the Boxing Day tsunami, Hollywood (as per usual) has left its mark on the story (ie making a Spanish family caucasian). But while many would have taken this amazing account of human perseverance and love and turned it into something completely manipulated and unworthy, the Alvarez family and their story is honored by a beautiful, honest, and inspiring interpretation by Spanish director Juan Antonio Bayona (THE ORPHANAGE).

Suddenly It's Magic

I love spending my time watching decent movies, and not only restricted to lovey dovey movies, but I'm open, as long as the movie catches my attention :)

so, recent movie that I watch was Suddenly It's Magic. It's a very..hmm how to describe, if it is a cupcake, it will be filled with lots of sugar and the person who will eat it will feel a sense of euphoric and you feel like paradise. HAHAHAH *nice description yan -.-
Typical love story, between a famous Thailand actor, Marcus who falls in love with a ordinary girl, Joey from Phillipines when he visited Philippines to ease his mind from stressful work and his ex girlfriend, because they are always paired up in a movie as  hero and heroin. Marcus was clearly moved on with his ex girlfriend, but their fans wanted them to be paired up in every single movie.
When both Marcus and Joey fall deeply in love, they face many problems, as Marcus is on his rocky state, his career needs a full hardwork and sacrifices, his fans don't like Joey, and Marcus' mom seems not to agree with their relationship.

Personally, I think this movie is too good to be true. It won't happen in the real situation, I guess. Or maybe I'm just to prejudice about fairytale love because none of it are true. But, I still watch this because I found out that every movie there are always somethings that can be my inspiration. So, leave aside my judgmental comments :P

How could you allow yourself to believe in what you all knew was just a beautiful lie?  - Joey

It’s not a lie. They may have lied to us, but the love we’ve felt for them, the love we gave,
That was trueThat’s why it hurts. And that’s why we’ll learn to APPRECIATE the Next one that comes along. ” - Marcus

Joey experienced a heartbreak before she met Marcus. She felt very stupid, she once believe that she and her ex boyfriend could end up together.

“I would like to think and to believe that this time we’re stronger, we’re more grown up, we know better. And because we know what it’s like to be apart from each other, no matter how tough things get, we’re not going to let each other go again.”

Marcus said to Joey:
“I stopped liking fairytales and happy endings a long time ago. But you, you’re making me believe in them again. “

I do admit that I keep screaming while watching this movie because I find the very sweet together and yeas, Marcus is a very handsome guy and Joey is a very beautiful and they are like, soulmate. Tehee. well, this is just a movie.Movie's plot is very perfect because the script was written by a scriptwriter.

ahh.I'm melting. He is just too handsome.Teheeeeee
